At the intersection of route 168 and Phelps Road, find the blue trail heading south. Parking along Phelps Road for a few cars.
Follow the blue blazes south for 1.2 miles until you see a clearing with a fantastic view, a granite marker and two signs. One sign tells you that this is the town line and the other one says:
N.41* 59.304'
W.72* 44.141'
I have no idea what this means and I have no idea how to make a degree symbol so for today * is equal to the elusive degree symbol.
Now you must stand at the granite marker with your back to the view and take about 20 steps forward (crossing the trail) to a rocky ledge with a small birch tree on the edge. In front of the tree is a pointy rock and in back of the rock is a flat one concealing the box. Be sure to poke with a stick before retrieving the box.
Make sure no one is around when finding the box and recover with leaves etc.
Thanks
