4. Turn left at Springbrook Rd. 0.2 mi

6. You can park in the grass along the drive-way.
START FROM THE DRIVEWAY
• Skip to the biggest tree you see along the side of the driveway.
• FACT: During the Civil War, John Kline gained permission from officers in the Northern and Southern armies to travel across military lines.
• Pick up a little rock and keep it with you until you found the box.
• FACT: Elder John Kline was shot making his way home.
• Walk down the path that starts between the big tree and the rock wall and runs beside a small garden. Stop at the creek bed by the building.
• FACT: John Kline died June 15, 1864.
• Then use the rock to cross the creek bed. Sqeeze between the tree, and the chimney.
• Count how many jumps it takes you to get to the white barn.
• FACT: John Kline’s wife’s name was Anna.
• Stand at the barn, multiply 2 x 2, and look for that many evergreen trees.
• Race to the end of the wooden fence.
• Subtract 9 – 2, and find that many rocks.
And…
YOU HAVE FOUND THE BOX!!!
• Place the rock from earlier in your search, in the box and take one that is in there. In a little way you are sharing with people that you don’t even know! =)
Be sure to return the box to its place and hide it well.
