This is not the State Park Picnic Area.As you follow rte 156 into Weld Maine in the center of town at the intersection turn right on to Center Hill rd. and proceed to the Ranger Station where the Center Hill Trails are located. this is located directly across the street fromthe flagpole. If you happen to be visiting in July the parking area near the flagpole has many BLUEBERRIES to be picked. so drive in past the two buildings and you will find signs for the trails. A small donation is requested. Take a trail map butI found that many of the less groomed trails are not on the map. The well groomed snowmobile trails are on the map and this is what you are hiking. Follow the well groomed trail in to the woods you will see signs for snowmobile destinations. follow to the intersection and go straight. You will come to the dirt road just before the Center Hill Picnic Area road. Cross the road and continue on the trail soon you will come to a rock wall. IN the rock wall on the right is the US MAIL.
so if you read through this post you can see that this could also be a drive by.if you can find the trail from the dirt road park on the side of the road just before the entrance to the Center Hill Picnic area . by the way just beyond the rock wall is a single picnic table . Bring a lunch!!!!!!
