This letterbox has been removed temporarily. The city has cut down several of my landmarks, so I need to get it reworked.

You should be able to follow the clues even if you haven’t read the book, but you should definitely read it.

From Minneapolis, head south to just north of where east meets west. Take the Parkway named for the city you’re in (turn right off the exit). After about a half-mile, turn right on a street named like a Mall, Island or County. From that street in less than half a mile turn left into the center (not the Heart) of the city.

Now you’ve entered Narnia. On the right you’ll soon see the White Witch’s realm—where it’s always winter, but never Christmas. Go past her realm and up the hill until you can turn left into a parking lot (you should see the lamppost leading into the Narnian woods). Park under the lamppost and take the path into the woods. Stay on the main path. Don’t turn right down the path guarded by four short stubby dwarves. Instead keep going and turn left at the next path. Veer right at the next fork, and continue until you come to “T” with Mr. Tumnus. At “T”, turn left. Soon you’ll have another choice to make. Look down both paths and you’ll know the way to go, because you’ll see a tree Mr. Beaver felled, but found too big to take home. Take the path under it. The path will curve to the right and on your left you’ll soon see Edmund’s jail cell—it’s small, so don’t try to get through the bars to save him. From his cell, count forty paces, following the path to the right (every footfall is one pace). On the right, just off the path, you’ll see the Stone Table. It’s now in two pieces because Aslan has risen! Standing on the table, at a compass reading of 250 you’ll see the base of a fallen tree. (If the undergrowth isn't too grown up--in mid summer you may just need to head off at this heading to find the tree.) At the base of that tree is the prize.

Take bug spray in the middle of the summer. This is a heavily travelled area--especially popular with schoolkids from the three neighboring schools. So, please be careful unearthing this box, so that no one sees you. And rehide it well. Thanks, and remember what Alsan did at the Stone Table.
