(mother moose)---> My sister , her husband and my neice live in upstate NY. My sister makes homemade soaps and ointment. Her company name is "Sassafras Rose" and this stamp is for her and her family. Rose is my beautiful redheaded neice who is confined to a wheel chair but that doesn't stop her from doing things. So I thought that the next time they come to visit we all could go letterboxing and since Rose can't go on many trails in the woods . I', making it possible for her to experiance letterboxing on this wheel chair friendly trail. Bring along clues for "please recycle" if you haven't already found it. this box reminds me of my sister to cause she recyles everything.
Take rt 8 to exit 46. Turn off exit to go down hill to stop light. Turn right at the light onto Winsted rd. Down on the right just past AT&T (on left) is Susan grossman Greenway. Drive down in and park.

Pass by the yellow post to get on the bike trail. Walk down past two sections of wooden fences . Standing at the last post on left turn and bushwhack your way into the woods. About 20 steps from the path is a 3 sister tree with a hole in the bottom. Look behind the tree under a boulder. Sassafras Rose is in the hole under a rock.
