These letterboxes are placed on newly purchased town land on Howe Street in East Brookfield. Parking is limited and is on the side of the road near the white sign board that indicates the land is public property or there is some space on the side of the road directly across. DO NOT DRIVE DOWN THE DRIVEWAY. Until access is built on the town-owned portion of the land, you are allowed to WALK down the paved driveway to access the land. Please be respectful of the property owners. Trails are old cart roads so are mostly pretty open. The whole trip should take about an hour plus searching time.
The first letterbox, Carina's Flowery Letterbox can be found by following these directions: Continue up the cart road until the first fork. Follow the fork to the right. Not far up this trail, you will see a small trail perpendicular to the main trail on the right. Enter here and climb over the fallen tree. Look to your right; the first box is hidden in the stone wall.
The second letterbox, Michael's, can be found by going back to the main trail, turn right to continue along the way you were headed. Before the next fork in the road, look for two medium-sized rocks on the left side of the road in front of a 4-pronged tree (two 4-pronged trees if you look closely!) The letterbox is near the rocks.
The third and final letterbox, Jordan's Spooky Box is hidden further up the trail. Continue a bit further until the gravel cart road splits with the more travelled one going to the right and a less-travelled trail to the left. Follow this trail until a stone wall crosses it. Go straight for about 95-100 steps (depending on how long your strides are!) and look for a rock formation on your left. About mid-way up the rocks is a small hole where the last letterbox is hidden. There is a Geo-cache in this area as well so if you find it, please re-hide well.
To get back to your car, turn around and either go back the way you came or take a right before the stone wall. Follow this trail to an opening, cut directly across it to the cart road and you will be coming down the left fork from near the beginning of the walk.
