The Hippie Quest
Love, Peace and Flower Power
Did you ever wonder what the Hippies were looking for? These boxes have the answer!
One mile hike on asphalt walkway
Start on the asphalt walkway at the park by Huntsman Lake, located at the end of Dorothy Lane.
You will pass a playground on your right as you walk towards a fork on the walkway. Turn left at the fork and you will see a fitness station with a bench on your left. Then pass a sign “Beaver at Work”. Walk over a wooden bridge to see a wooden fence on your right. At the end of the fence, walk up a dirt path 30 paces and you will notice a group of downed trees that crisscross. Search for the box there with the answer to what the Hippies sought. The answer is on the bottom of the box. Return to the walkway and turn right.
Continue straight along the walkway. Pass a fitness station with parallel bars, then another with a bench. After going around a sharp curve you will see a fitness station with a bar that is at a 45-degree angle to the ground. At the far corner of the fitness area, walk up a path 40 paces. You will see a downed tree on your left. Follow that tree that points to a standing tree with a letterbox hidden inside. Return to the walkway and head to a fork where you will take a left and head back to the parking.
