LEONE

RETIRED

Welcome to the LEONE letterbox clues!!
From I-15:
Take exit 331, Layton. Head East on Hillfield Rd. Turn South on Gordon Ave. The road curves East towards the mountains. When you get to Fort Lane, turn South (right). When you get to Wasatch Drive, turn West (right). Pass a street named Constitution (the first park area). Head to the next park on your right side. This is Layton Commons Park.
Now, I am a bit silly so my directions will lead you here and there, but if you follow them correctly you will eventually find the LEONE letterbox!
Park along side the park or in the parking lot east of the park. You will need to begin your hunt at the north end of the park. Look for the Heritage Museum Marquee. It is facing East, just off the sidewalk. Head the same direction that the horse head is facing. When you get to the split sidewalks, go West. Continue on the sidewalk ‘til you get to a Y (or fork in the sidewalk). Stay left. You should be heading towards the playground. Hang a left at the next fork in the sidewalk. Continue along the left side of the playground. When you get to the double red slides go down the slide. Continue to walk the direction you are facing when you get to the bottom of the slide. Keeping straight with the slide you should graze a pine tree as you heads towards the gazebo. When you get to the tree just before the gazebo, stop and turn SouthWest, facing the bench. Walk SW towards the path with the short, chainlink fence on one side. When you get to the path head right or NorthWest. When you get to the bridge cross it. Take an immediate right (off the sidewalk). Walk until you step on a 1ft. by 1ft. plastic, green grate…. You know one of those “let the water go in, but nothing else can go through” things. From this, take 5 steps, turn to your left. Look at the base of the tree behind some rocks. Please be careful as there are crowds of people here most of the time.
