Revised clues as of 6/ 19/ 09

On 6/15/09 the first box of this series went missing. The stamp has since been recarved and replanted in another spot. I would like to ask that anyone going after these boxes please, please move away from the plant site to stamp in and please be discreet when replanting.

To find Peanuts, make your way to the Farmington River Trail parking lot on River Road in Unionville. Enter the paved path on the right hand side of the parking lot and continue along the river to the bike trail on the left. Please bring your own ink.

Continue down the paved path to a pair of benches on the left. Just after the second bench is mile marker 2.5 on the right. Just past the mile marker is a large grey rock. Snoopy is hiding behind the rock under the usual cover. One of the benches you just passed faces away from the trail. It would be a perfect spot to stamp in.

To get to the next two letterboxes, you need to continue down the paved path and cross Unionville Ave. This is a very busy road, and it is advised that you use the crosswalk to the left. Once across the road, continue on to a small bench on your left. Directly behind the bench is a pine tree and behind the pine to the left is a multi sister birch clump. Look in the center under bark and sticks for Charlie Brown.

Continue on past two more sections of split rail fence on the left. After the second fence on the left is a fairly large brownstone with an old guardrail next to it. Lucy is hiding under the front corner closest to the guardrail behind some rocks and sticks. Hope you enjoyed your walk with some of the Peanut's Gang. There's more of the gang in Burlington.

Hike Length: 2.5 miles
