The Turtle Walker has walked over from the Fellsway to the Methuen Rail Trail. Same stamp, different location.
Start at the parking lot on Railroad St in Methuen near the old train depot. From there go north (left) up the trail. After going over the river pass a few telephone poles on the right. When you see a path going to the right, take it. (you should see a tree with an orange 3/4 on it and an orange rock at this turn)
Near the top of the small hill pass through 2 poles close together and look to the right for another pole lying on the ground. The Turtle Walker is under the pole near the right hand side.
Please re-cover the box well. When you return to the rail trail if you want to see the Heron rookery continue north past the MSPCA property. After passing pole #5485 look to the left for an opening in the trees. Go out toward the water for a look at the nests.
