Webster Road
Ellington
(stamp size 3 1/2 x 4 1/2)
From route 140 (Crystal Lake Road) go north on Webster Road for 2.4 miles. This is a yellow trail and there’s parking for one or two cars at the trail head on the right.
You will need to bring red, brown, blue, green and gray markers to achieve the look in the log book.
I believe this is a bike path but the terrain is more like a hiking path. Along the way there’s a very large pine touching the left side of the trail and then an area of stepping stones over a muddy spot. After that watch for a stone wall. After stepping over it count off 60 steps and look right behind an oak for a S.P.O.R. 60 feet off trail. In the center of this pile of rocks is the nifty New Mexico letterbox by lionsmane.
