Szegda Road
Columbia
(stamp size 3 x 3 1/2)
Just east of the intersection of routes 66 and 87 in Columbia (near the bottom of the hill), turn left on to Szegda Road. Travel to the stop sign and again go left. Follow this to a trail sign for the "Upper Trails"on the right side of the road just after an old farmhouse and before a brand new house being built. Turn right between the two wooden posts to park in the small grass parking area by the stone wall.
Please bring a brown ink with you for this image. Dogs are allowed on leash.
After parking, walk through the stone wall and turn right to start on the purple trail. Cross the power lines and soon come to a small steam that you will need to cross.
Shortly after the stream you will need to turn right on to the yellow trail. There is another, smaller stream crossing almost right away.
You will come to a loop sign and you should bear left, uphill, at this intersection.
Walk across a ledgey area and then start heading downhill.
Keep looking on your left for a large ~20 foot long rock a few steps off trail.
When you find it, go to the upper back side. Look under the rocks at the base of a small sapling for the outstanding Oklahoma letterbox by Penguin Patrol.
Recover well.
Continue in the direction you were heading until you get back to the yellow loop sign and then retrace your steps back to your vehicle.
