Galbraith Road

Locate Galbraith Road on route 190 just west of Johnson Memorial Hospital. Drive two tenths of a mile up this road and park at the gate.
Please bring blue, brown and green markers with you for this image.
Walk up the woods road, soon turning into the woods on the blue blazed trail. After a few ups and downs you’ll come to an especially long downhill with very nice stone water bars built by generous volunteers. At the bottom of the hill, cross a stream (mini waterfall today) and start going uphill, watching for two large boulders on the left side of the trail. Walk between these boulders going north to a stump with a flat rock leaning on it. Look under the overhang and poke the pouch out with a stick. Here is where you will find the outstanding Oregon letterbox by Murray Herd. Recover completely.
