Sankaty Treasure
First, you must get yourself to Sankaty Head Lighthouse. It’s a pleasant and rewarding trip by bike or car from Nantucket town.
Stand just outside the fenced in area and face the lighthouse. Look to your left for an old asphalt path that runs downhill towards the golf course. Follow the split rail fence that runs to the right of the path till you come to a blue marker. What you seek is under the lowest fence rail just a couple of feet past the marker.
