RISK DISCLAIMER: Snakes, poison ivy, bugs, etc
DIFFICULTY: Easy - just walk in the cemetery a few steps
VISIBILITY: Could be high, but probably low
CLUE:
Take highway 287 to Sunset, Texas.
Take Spur 511 into Sunset (about 3-5 miles?)
at the 4-way stop in Sunset, turn right onto 1749. (Continue about 3-5 minutes?)
Turn right on Pleasant Hill Road. Continue about 5-10 ish minutes.
You will come to a place where the road continues straight, but there is also a turn/curve to the left, with a sign that says "Pleasant Hill Cemetery" and you should turn left there and continue just about 5 minutes or so. (It probably will feel longer.) Gravel road, not paved, but very suitable for driving on, nothing bad.
Landmarks along the way for this section will be passing a street sign for Hidden Oak (on the right) and passing the Yellorose Ranch (on the right).
when you come to a triangle of grass sort of area in the middle of the road, continue on the curve to the right a little bit further.
Pleasant Hill Cemetery is on the right.
The letterbox is in the left-side section of the cemetery. Go in the gate, turn right immediately, follow the fence line to the yucca plant in the corner, and it is behind that.
I only come up here about once a year, so be sure to re-hide carefully. Thank you.
Thanks for looking!
While you are in the area, I have two other boxes that are close enough to drive to easily. These are At Sunset and Kamman.
