This letterbox is located at Mt. Tom State Park.
Park in the small upper lot beside the hiking trails.
Take the Tower Trail (on the right past the log barrier).
As you are nearing the upper part of the trail, the hike will become rockier and steeper. At the first large curve to the right, you will see a large outcropping of boulders on your left. Face East. Take 14 paces east to the rock formation. Turn 90 degrees to the left and skirt the base of the boulders. Look under a slanted tic-tac-toe rock for the box.
You may also search for this box after visiting the tower. Walk down form the Tower on the main trail. At the fifth curve (the fourth curve is an S curve) look for the outcropping on your right. Proceed as above.
