This "was" our first box. It was hidden in April 03, which is a bad time of year for hiding in a "wetlands" area. What seems like a good location in April is a horrible location in May and June. So, after trying to check on a reported missing box, and not being able to get down the trail because the water was too deep, a new box has been placed in the Park in a much drier location. Wear bug spray and watch out for poison ivy. (We did our best to avoid both this time.)

Make your way to East Harbor State Park.

When you drive from the entrance to the park watch on the left side of the road for Blackberry Trail. After seeing the trail, take your first left. Then take the next left toward the exit of the park. On the left side of the road you will find the other end of Blackberry Trail. This is where the directions to the box start. We pulled off on the side of the road, but there is a parking lot a little ways away.

From the sign to Blackberry Trail, take about 67 medium steps. There should be a large tree, larger than the others, to your right. From the large tree, walk 18 medium steps. Turn to the right and take about 8 steps off the trail toward a pile of vines and sticks. (This was the only place on the trail where a box could be located that was not covered in poison ivy.)
