5/30/10 - Box #3 has been fixed since it got wet from the rainstorms. I'm gonna to try putting index cards in with stamp but if not there will be only a stamp. All boxes are all set. Have fun Letterboxing!!!

This letterbox is available all year long. If you happen to go after camping season the owners may approach you but just feel free to tell them what you are there for. They helped us with the ideas and are very friendly.
This is placed in a very Rustic Campground to locate these boxes there is NO ADMISSION CHARGE. The campground is open from the 2nd week of April till Oct 31st. Please try to seek these boxes out during this time. It also is not that populated so no worries. Please take bug spray with you. This is approx. 1/4 mile around.
The campground is called Oakleaf Family Campground 43 Oakleaf Way Glocester, RI It is located of RT 94. From Providence you would take Hartford Ave. (rte 6) follow to rte 101 come up Rt101 and take a right at yellow blinking light onto Rt94. Once on Rt 94 you'll follow this road for approx 2 1/2 miles down and on the right you will notice a little BLUE sign that says 'Oakleaf Campground' this is also Old Snake Hill Rd. Take a right onto this street and follow approx 1/2 mile. On the left you will see another Blue sign and on the pole there will be Oakleaf Way. Turn right on this dirt rd and follow down till you see the lot in front of you off to the left of the road, park there.
Now head out to the road and walk till you come to the stop light. Look around to find the North American Yellow Bat. Take a look inside its very rare!!! Once you have done that head down the towards the bathrooms and walk behind them towards where the horses play. Notice the (p)ool is a great place to cool off and take in the Ocean View of the Lighthouse. On the side of the lighthouse you see a small tree. At the base is some leaves and rocks. There you will find The Oakleaf.
After you've returned and hid box 1 head back to the road and walk down towards the back. Stay to the right at the end then turn to the left down another road. Notice the chain across the road making you stay to the left. Follow road down to oening and look to the right and you will see some fallen logs. There is also a smaller tree still standing with some leaves and a hand looking type stick at the base. You've found 'Campout'.
Make sure to put this box back and hide again. When you have done this continue to follow the road down and take in the fresh air and enjoy the walk. As you come out of the woods into the clearing stay to the right and follow the road back up. We are in site 20 if you want to say hello. Notice all the sites that you could spend one night with us. As you approach the office area again you will notice the cinderblocks along the office. In one of them is some leaves and a piece of wood. Under them you will see your final thank you and appreciation.
Don't forget to book a night to CAMPOUT!!!!!!!!

Hope you enjoyed!!
