The city of Colma is often called a Necropolis, but nestled in the middle of the many cemeteries is a place that remembers those who LIVED in Colma. There you will find a museum housed in a historical building (it is not necessary to go IN the museum but if you are there Mon-Sat from 10am-3pm it is free, fast and fun). On the grounds you will find many interesting items and a few small stuctures to admire as you seek this letterbox. Next to the depot station is a small memorial with shout outs to Lillian and Helen in particular. Sit on the bench outside of the picket fence, scoot all the way to your left. Under the bench where the seat meets the leg a tiny bird has found refuge from the wind. Rehide well and make sure its little nest can’t be seen by passer-bys.
