This box is hidden in Ridley Creek State Park. It is a challenging hike, covering steep, rocky terrain. It takes a little over an hour to complete (if you take the time to skip some stones and rest on a bench here and there).

Reports of Aliens have been sighted in this area! It’s your job to find out if they’re real. Here are your directions -
Begin at Picnic Area #9. Starting at a fire pit, look down the hill and go to the big broken tree with the white blaze. Here, many sightings have been reported; some say that an alien spacecraft broke the tree! Continue down the path. Take a right turn down the path with a tree that has markings & a white arrow. Continue, and you will see the name Ziggy Stardust carved into a tree. Many believe this is the name of the Alien Leader! When you come to a balance-beam-like tree trunk, walk across it. You may catch a glimpse of an Alien! Remember, you are a detective who will do anything for the truth! After you have walked a bit, on the left you will see a fallen tree with exposed roots. We heard from a reliable source that Aliens knocked it down with their space ship. Once you get closer to the water, you may hear Alien whispers. Follow the path of water on the left side. It is very rocky, so only leave the path if you can climb and jump from rock to rock! You will find a place near a knocked-down tree that is good for skipping-stones. We even got a report that someone found Alien baby shells on the riverbank. If you find any, don’t keep them. Aliens may need them back. Once you are finished, continue on the white trail. Cross a wooden bridge. Soon you will see a white blaze and blue blaze on the same tree. I heard that two of the three most important spaceships followed each other at this spot. Go forward, because you may find one of the ships if they didn’t leave. (If you turn right, you will fail your mission and end up in the parking lot!) Follow the blazes across another bridge. Take a seat on the bench. You have a long walk ahead of you, so I suggest getting a bit of rest! Continue to follow the blue and white blazes (found directly behind the benches). Pass through what looks like a cave of sticks. This is what most believe is the abandoned hideout of the Aliens. Crossing a paved road, go up the hill following the blazes. Follow the BLUE up some root steps. Cross a big rock on the path. Keep going up. And up. And up. And up! Finally, where paths intersect, there are markings that reportedly are for a yellow spaceship. We need to learn more about this one, so follow the yellow trail down the hill. After you go down some stairs, turn left on a bike trail, then right again to follow the yellow marks. Just off the paved path is a bridge that some say the aliens destroyed to stop us from following them. Either cross the new bridge, or, if the bridge is still missing, there is a wooden plank down to the right of the bridge that a well-balanced detective can use. Just after the bridge, the trail veers off to the left. Following the yellow marks, you will cross small bridges, for there will be many in this swampy land. Some people say Aliens built the bridges, but here at the Agency, we don’t think so. After those bridges, continue up a steep hill. It’s hard work, but you can do it. You must do it! When you come to the mark of the white spaceship, turn right. We were told that white is the mothership; we’re getting close! Next, you have to go down a steep hill. At the bottom of the hill where it levels off, reports are that there are three trees that were twisted together by the Aliens and marked with their white blazes. Go left off the path, about 50 feet into the clearing behind them. In the back you will see another cave made of sticks this is where it is said Ziggy Stardust hid his daily journal. If you find it, the Aliens are real. If not, this was all a myth. You will need to send your smallest detectives inside the caves of sticks and vines. Inside, you will see a rock, the reported hiding place of Ziggy’s journal. Is it there? If it is, leave your mark in the journal and put some type of evidence in your detective log. Then quickly continue along the white path; it is a short cut back to the main road and where you started in Area 9. Thank you Agent #147385! The Agency is grateful to have you as a Detective!
