this letterbox is lost I think. They widened the sidewalk under the bridge and either our box is forever encased in concrete or it was thrown away by contractors.


Drive east on 12th street from Main st. Turn just after the tall blue water tower....this will lead you towards the Blue Sky Sculpture. Just past the sculpture is a gravel parking lot on your left. Park there. The Bike Path along Sand Creek can be accessed from here. Start strolling to your left - away from the park. Enjoy the beautiful trees, sound of the water, and continue your stroll past a sitting/resting area. You will see the wooden train trussel bridge. Be careful and DON'T try to get on the bridge....it is still an active railroad. Beneath the bridge as you stand on the cement path there is a hollow beneath you. Carefully reach under and find the treasure with the blue lid....you may have to move a few rocks. Be careful not to lose your footing!
