Ah! What a lovely day for a hike! But what if you’d rather be on the beach? Then Muir Beach is the perfect place for you. This is a VERY short walk but you can extend your trip on the paths, the longest one about one mile.

In order to keep the boxes small enough to hide, I was unable to include stamp pads! So, before searching these boxes out, be sure to have your own ink pad!!

BOX #1:
You’ll need to drive to Muir Beach. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at the picnic tables, make a pit stop and then start on the path towards both the beach and trails. On the bridge you cross, stop to check out the serene creek flowing underneath. How high is the water today? Do the direction sung by Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers but please don’t draw any blood, forget about your love, or give your life away!! Here is where the first box stays! Yeah, yeah . . .

BOX #2:
After the bridge, follow the signs to the trails. When you reach a fork in the road, go salty and turn to see where the Pirates go. Now, this area is covered in grasses and other growing things but on your right (before following the steps of pirates before you) there will be one solitary rock. Using the strength of 50 hamsters, shift the weight of this rock to find the second box.

After finding the boxes, continue on the trail of your choice or head back to the beach. Either way is an excellent way to celebrate your successful letterboxing day!

Please let me know if the boxes are missing!
