"There was no possibility of taking a walk that day..." Thus begins her story. Can you find her?

Go to the Carnegie Library on Avenue A in Turners Falls. (It's across the street from the Food City plaza...can't miss it.)The library hours are M-W, 1-8; Th, 1-5; F 10-5. Walk up the steps, through both sets of heavy double doors (the inside ones have been known to pinch little fingers...be warned) and smile and wave at the lovely library ladies.

Now, think about who wrote 'Jane Eyre', and when, and let the search begin. (A hint: the author is NOT located alphabetically on the shelves. She is housed in a separate section.)

Find Jane Eyre, a lady of classic grace. She sits on a shelf with others of her kind, quiet in her place. Very carefully look behind; there you should find a box with pen and ink inside. When you have left your mark, carefully replace box and books and wave goodbye to the nice ladies at the desk. Take a stroll around the library if you've the time!

If the box turns out to be absent, email the Pickety Witch at PaganDreamr@yahoo.com Thanx!
