This letterbox is in Bandelier National Monument. There is a fee to enter the park. Enter the Park on Route 4. Park you car in large guest parking area. Walk towards 'extra parking' and turn right. Walk down paved path until you come to a Y. Look back and to your left at the U shaped driveway and picnic area. Walk through the picnic area and past the tables. Turn left (magnetic SE) and walk to a large rock. As you continue looking in the same direction you will see a tree with many trunks. Under it you will find Petroglyph Boy hiding under a rock.

You can continue up the Y on the paved path for a wonderful hike and ceremonial caves.

Note: June 2011. Bandelier had quite a burn. I will try to check on this box and let you know if it's still there!
