I love doing puzzles as much as letterboxing . Brain teasers are one of my favorites. Find all 4 stamps in order and answer the question . "What are the Charges officer??"
The first 3 stamps are micro boxes and the log book with the answer in it is in the 4th box.
Head to Platt hill state Park in winchester. From Main st. in winsted turn onto Lake st. at the light near the ambulance garage take the second right ont to rt 263. boyd st. follow rd up until rt 263 beats right . You will stay straight onto platt hill . drive until you come to the sign for platt hill on left with green metal gate. (which was open when i was there) .. you might also want to look up better directions to get here. I'm not sure how accurrate these are.
clue #1
drive or walk straight on the road . you will pass a couple of wood chip piles on your right but you want to stop when you come to the wood chip pile on the left and a clearing on the right. ( before the road bears left)
walk down the long flat rock to its end . look right to a 2 sister tree with 1 dead sister at 4 ft. and dead vine under some bark behind the tree in clue #1.
Go back on the road head towards one way sign. Go to the next clearing on the right. step over the flat rock and look under the boulder to your right for clue #2.
Head back out and follow the one way sign to the right with the log bench . At the log bench go left to the second pine tree on the right which has a rock in front of it . under rear corner of the rock is clue #3.
Head up around the circle to find your final clue. at the boulder on the right side of the black gravel . turn to your right to the 2 boulders with the laurel growing behind it and a pine tree to the right. Under the boulder behind the rock is clue #4 and the answer to the puzzler.
