The Owl

Heading back from “Gold Springs Canteen” stop at the junction of Weiser Trail and the AT.

From that junction: 60 degrees, 26 steps to a copse of rocks. Look under the incisor.

The Eagle

Continue on the trail back to Eckville. The descent begins. March down. When you reach the right bend (If you were coming up the hill, this is where the hill becomes noticeable steeper.) Look for the large rock between 2 beeches or silver birches or cherry trees (there was much discussion about this. But we both hoover at tree identification).

Take the faint trail at 300*. Twenty some steps to 2 large “V” trees on your right. Stand at the sapling between the two large “V’ trees.

Twelve Panther steps to the Cherry, beech, whatever. Under the tree, protected by SPOR

1. Thank you to Lightnin Bug for taking us on this journey. It was so nice to have a great hike with boxes.
2. Take lots of water.
3. The hill is unending, but worth the climb, view and boxes.
4. We met some cool people on the trail.
5. Do research. More Fun to be had.
6. You know the rest.
