Park at the main lot at Gilette's Castle.
Walk through the wooden board with the NO PARKING sign by the dumpsters. Walk down the path by the pond and take a right at the sign for the trail. Follow the trail until you can loop back to an old train tunnel. Go up the hill to get on top of the tunnel. Look for a "YCC 1976" carving on top of the stone. Slightly to the left under a rock is The Engineer's Treasure.
