Locate Meander Crossing Court in the Broadlands sub division. As you enter the court, look for the path on the left side of the street. (Note: If you enter the wrong way and take the wrong path you will not come across Cottontail Corner, and you’ll need to retrace you steps back to the starting point and take the other path.) Start down the path and you will walk over a footbridge. Continue down the path and you will come to a fork in the path. Take the path to the left and you will come to Cottontail Corner. Take a moment to learn about many of the animals that might live in the nearby woods. Hang out on the playground and go down the curly slide. At the bottom of the slide, pivot left until your left leg bumps the slide. From here, walk 15 paces into the woods. On the 15th pace your foot should fall somewhere near a long fallen tree. “The Cottontail Rabbit” is on the other side of the log under a cluster of leaves. Be very discreet when looking because this playground is frequently occupied by younger kids.
