Find the intersection of Main St (Rt. 1A) and Stackyard Rd. Pull onto Stackyard Rd. which is a public road but is unpaved. Don’t worry about the condition of the road; the trail is very close to the intersection. Find a place to pull to the side of the road. Between the sign for Minister’s Woodlot and the first telephone pole on Stackyard Rd there is a trail between two trees. The trail is easy to follow and is lined with down trees. Follow to the end where the trail opens up. Take in the view over the Rowley Marsh. The sun rises behind the grove of trees on the left side of your view. Keeping this in mind the end is close but to your north. Go back to where the trail bottlenecks between two trees. To your right, off the trail, is a three trunk tree. Take care going around the hand rails and there you will find what you seek.
