Naugatuck Valley Community College
750 Chase Parkway
West Entrance-parking lot C
Visitor parking on right. Glacial Ridge Trail on left.

Enter under the arch and go right on yellow (red will accompany you for awhile too) soon red will go left but you stay on yellow with the college on the right and a large cliff wall on the left. Red will rejoin you and then again turn left. Stay on yellow going downhill towards water. Come to the water falls with a bench and a gorge. Enjoy this spot for awhile, it's the best part of the hike. After starting again, pass through the land of many rocks. You'll see a rock with a left turn double blaze and start to go uphill. Then you'll see a tree with a right turn double blaze. Continue uphill to the next tree with a right turn double blaze site about 20 to 25 degrees and walk 20 steps passing the root end of a downed tree, and coming to some kind of birch tree followed by a second one. Just to the right of the second birch find a rock with quartz streaks in it. Getting Ready should be tucked between that rock and a companion, covered only with leaves.

Continue on yellow eventually passing another bench and coming to a left turn onto a woods road. At the pile of debris, turn left again noticing the State of CT. Go right at the point where red again turns left. Take a left, staying with yellow and pass Rock Mountain on the right. Ignore a small yellow trail on the right (I believe it's a dead end) cross a stream bed and almost immediately look right for a large two sister tree with a spotted rock in front of it. Look under the back side of this rock for After School, covered only with leaves.

Continue on yellow, passing another bench and eventually coming to the original intersection where you went right. Go right back to your car.

Both stamps were carved by RTRW.
