This box is a small, quick find that simply pays homage to a great park/playground that we have enjoyed for years. Kimmel park is a wonderful little park that many families enjoy year 'round...

Kimmel Park is located in the heart of Midlothian between N 1st and N 2nd streets and between W Ave. E and W. Ave F. The main entrance to the park is at the corner of 2nd St. and Ave. F. You can park anywhere around the four sides of the park, but for the best access to this letterbox, park near this main entrance.

Walk in the main entrance through the red brick columns. Once through, immediately turn around and face the back of the four columns. Look at the two brick columns to the left. Spread along the ground between these two left columns is some foliage/brush. Careful of the prickly leaves! Look against the inside edge of the far left column, and you should find this small letterbox under the brush. It shouldn't be too far back, and you shouldn't have to reach into much prickly foliage to find it.

Please return it exactly where you found it and make sure the lid is securely fastened. Now stick around awhile and enjoy Kimmel Park! There's basketball, two great playgrounds, picnic tables, and a great field for sports, kites, frisbees...you name it!

Special thanks to The Fantastic Four for their help in preparing this letterbox.
