Easy box, five minute round trip. Located at Union Cemetery on route 58.
This box is in honor of "Evilville," a haunted house type attraction held at Edaville railroad on Halloween a few years ago (although they don’t seem to be doing it anymore). If you like haunted houses tell them you want it back.
From the Carver Fire Department drive about 2.4 miles south on route 58. You will see the Cemetery on the right hand side.
You may also take Exit 2 off 495 and head North on 58 for about 3.9 miles and the Cemetery will be on your left.
There is no need to enter the cemetery to get to the box. Please remember to be respectful of the cemetery and the property surrounding it as it is considered historic and hallowed ground. You never know what might happen if you disturb the spirits ;-)
Use the southernmost entrance furthest from the church. You should be on a gravel road just outside the cemetery’s wrought iron fence. You can leave your car parked here. Walk along the gravel road keeping the fence and then the stone wall on your right. Shortly you will reach the back of a stone crypt that is part of the stone wall. The letterbox is hidden in a crevice at the bottom of the stone wall just on the other side of the crypt. Stamp in re-hide well and remember to say good bye to the ghost on the train or he may just follow you home!
