On our trip we brought with us a symbol from home- THE GRIZ! For those of you who have never been to Montana, THE GRIZ is our local college team, just 45 minutes north of our house, located in Missoula, Montana.
Our Griz hitched a ride and found a nice resting spot out of the heat of the day.
At Longhorn Caverns, find the trail that has a 3 minute loop. Take the right hand fork. At post #14 look ahead on the trail and you will see a rock on the right hand side with a yellow dot. Stand in front and look 160 degrees. Around a tree you will find a space for our Griz to hunker down for the winter. His very own rock cave.
We live, obviously, quite far away. Please help with any maint. that might be needed. Also, we'd love to hear about his "keepers" so be sure to post that you've found him!!
