Shortly after the intersection of Rt1 East and Rt 200, you will find Rest Area B52616. Park here.
Sit facing the water, at the picnic table closest to the parked cars. Go to the right and stand on the cement table. Go to the right to the group of cedar trees . Stand between the two skinny sister trees with the parking lot to your back and the water to your left. Directly straight ahead you will see a tree with a rotted out belly with a big branch fallen down on its left.
Behind the rotten belly, on a rock and hidden with bark, is the letterbox.
NOTE: Though listed separately, this box is included in sort of a series on a stretch of Rt1 East.
Others on this series going East if you start from Ellsworth on Rt 1 include:
Wilbur's Re-tired Friend
Halloween Prankster
Humanitarian
Schoodic Welcome
Sullivan Tower
No Rest for Wormers
First Church
Farmstead Barn
