This is our first box and we wanted to make it easy to find in a spectacular place. Drive to the summit of Greylock and park in the parkinglot there. It costs $2.00 for the day. As you are walking up the path to the Bascom Lodge along the stone wall you look right and see the flag flying proudly for our fallen. Go to the flags' base and walk just to the left of it. Look left and you will see a small opening in the trees there. As you stoop and move into the opening you will notice a large evergreen tree just to your right and if you look beyond that you will see a smaller tree with some out of place rocks at the base. There lies the Greylock Soldiers Monument.Stamp and then seal and hide carefully.Enjoy the views from the summit.
