Martha’s Way
We vacation every year on Martha’s Vineyard, so we wanted to place our first box there, at one of our favorite places, Lighthouse Beach in Edgartown. Start at the Edgartown Lighthouse. The foundation of the lighthouse is a compass. Standing on the foundation, look directly north and see a clump of small cedar trees about 300 paces away. Walk to them, winding around the dunes. The box is in one of the trees, in the branches to protect it from storm water. The tree has its base surrounded by rocks to help you identify it.
