This box is an updated Playgrounds One. The contents of Playgrounds One have been destroyed by the elements. The plastic bag had ripped. We were able to salvage the stamp. We tried to contact Asheamom the original placer of Playgrounds One, but have not received a response. Asheamom appears to be inactive. Everything else is the same as Playgrounds One with a few updates.
Playgrounds One is a wonderful place to take your family. It has lots of space to run and play. Located in the heart of Mansfield. From Rt 95 take exit 7A onto rt 140. Turn left onto Chauncy St/rt 106. Continue to follow rt 106 about two miles until Third light . Hope St. Take a right onto Hope St.Park by the stone wall and enter to the Playground area. As fun as the playground may be, to find the box you will have to pass right by with the playground on your right. Turn left at the stone platform (an old bandstand) and walk toward the bleachers. Pass the bleachers and head toward the skate park. Follow the path of bluestone through the fenced pass (Like a bridge.) about twenty feet before the end of the path, look left. You will see stones heading down into the grassy area below. Step over the fence. As you head down, the two largest stones will make a small cave.(just big enough for the box) You may need to move some stones. There you will find the box. Enjoy the day and the park!!
