The Waubee Whopper:
1. Heading north on Hwy 32 into Lakewood, WI take County Rd F to the right. Head 5.5 miles on Cnty Rd F.
2. Take a right on Waubee Lake Dr and follow Waubee Park Ln left to pass some good grub at Waubee Lodge.
3. Then find where "Mary Parks."
4. After you read Mary's story take 40 paces down to the lake to view the island that the loons nest on.

Did you Know: The loons' unique call suggests the wild laughter of a demented person, which lead to the phrase "Crazy as a Loon"

5. Walk 20 paces right and stop at the Red octagon Sign.
6. As you stand at the red octagon view the two deer in the distance and look slightly left to find a large tree with a Y in its trunk.
7. Walk to the base of the Y and turn to the left.
8. Look for the lone pine within the shrubs.

Did you Know: This is a White Pine, Pinus Strobus, which has needles in bundles of 5 and is common to Wisconsin.

9. At the base of the pine you will find the Waubee Whopper nestled amongst the stones.

ROCK ON!
