7/28/10 I went to check on this box and cold not find it. I don't know whether it was replaced in a different location or taken. I will hopefully replce it when able.

Driving down route one after passing through Bath you will pass "The Taste of Maine" restaurant. Keep your eyes open and up to see the Osprey nests. The restaurant actually has a camera on one inside to see up close and personal. As you pass the restaurant you will come to marshy water and at the end of that take the turn to the right. Wander down the road a bit and on the left you will see Nequasset road immediately after that is the road for the park. Park your vehicle(bring a picnic and a bathingsuit if the weather is right)along thegrasswhere the picnic tables are you will see a cluster of birches. It is actually,I think two multi-trunked trees. Go behind the backof the cluster and you will see there used to be a few more trees. there in therotted baseyou will find thebox. It sticks out of theholea bit so make sure you rehide it well with the bark and leaves like you found it, please. Thanks!
