This box is located in Short Pump Park.
This is a long trail, but don’t get bored or discouraged. It is a fun, easy and worthwhile trail.
Park near the baseball field and walk toward the picnic pavilion. Pass through or around the pavilion to the playground. Pass through the playground over to the back, left corner where a set of wooden steps will place you onto a path. Go down the steps and follow the path until you find a park bench. The trail splits right and left at the bench. Take the path to the left. This will be a long walk, but it is worth it. Follow the path until you come to a fork in the path beside a big pine tree with a spot of blue spray paint on it. Bear right, go around the tree and stay on the path. Keep walking down this path until you come to a place where the path goes between two big trees; one on each side of the path. The one on the right side of the path has a big opening in it about two feet above the ground. The letterbox is inside under some leaves.
Re-hide well so others may enjoy finding Pig Pen after you.
