There were so many good places to place a letterbox in this area. It was really hard to pick a spot but we did.
On Highway 150, in the Wasatch Forest…1.9 miles north of Ruth Lake Hiking Trail, you should be able to find our box.
Go to the Kletting Peak Wastach Forest turnout, to read about the peak. This is one mile north of mile marker 36. Park in the most northern parking spot. First read the historical marker. Then turn left (North) and take 50 paces along the rocky, gravel ridge, with pine trees on your right and the road on your left. Stop at a small lone pine tree on your left. On your right will be a large pine tree. Turn toward the right and walk down the small incline, about 10 feet. You will see a small group of boulders and rocks. The letterbox inbetween the boulders, covered with rocks and wood debris.
Please make sure the bags are secure and the box is covered when you are through. This area gets a lot of snow in the winter.
