"Four Fried Chickens and Some Dry White Toast"
Location: Waukegan Harbor
If you get the reference, then you know this is a Blues Brothers Box! I HIGHLY recommend watching the movie. It won't help you find the box, but it won't waste your afternoon either. Take Grand Ave (Rt. 132) East until it dead-ends near the lake. You'll be forced to turn, so take a right and head down to the harbor. At the first stop sign you can take a left and there's a parking lot about a block down on your right. Park there, or take a right after the parking lot and park down by Dockside Ice Cream or Dockside Dogs and get a snack. Stroll South down the water line passing the Harbor House until you can see a miniature red and white lighthouse ahead of you. (No compass required...hint: The Lake is East) There will be a small area to your left facing the water with picnic tables and benches. Walk over and look for the bench dedicated to Walter W. Thomas, Commodore. Sitting on the bench look straight ahead at the water and walk over to the rocks directly in front of you. There will be a large, flat, rectangular rock you can stand on right where the rock wall begins. Crouch down and look at the crevice in the upper left hand corner of the rock formed by the adjacent rocks. That is where the Blues Brothers reside. Feel free to walk it over to a picnic table to stamp in, just remember to put it back in the same place and cover with leaves or grass.

Now that you've found it, keep walking South just past the boat launch & take a stroll down the large pier. On a clear day you can see the Chicago skyline. There's also a small lighthouse on the end of the pier that can be very romantic...
Also, the miniature red/white lighthouse mentioned in the clue is a weather radio! Press a button for the current forecast.
