From Hwy 27 in Osakis, turn north on E. 4th Ave. You should come to the water tower just after crossing the trail. Park near there, maybe on Nestor. Walk back toward the highway, and turn east (left) onto the paved trail. Shortly you will come to a dark strip across the trail, patching a crack, with another one about twelve steps further. You should be able to see mile marker 130 some 30 feet or so ahead. Just past the second strip, there will be a multi-branched tree on the right. Stand just to the left of this tree facing the highway. If you're in the right spot, you will just barely be able to tell how much it costs for a gallon of gas, and maybe where to store your extra stuff. You will find the letterbox at center of this tree where the many branches come together.
