Gager Cemetery

Box 1 Ole Yellow ______BOX MISSING--Replaced 8-13-12 NEW CLUES below.

The 3 R’s are all important---Readin, Riting, and Rithmetic! But, in my opinion, Reading is probably more important. Show me a child who loves to read … and I’ll show you someone who is successful in life. Reading shows concentration, comprehension, consideration, compassion and understanding. I have been fortunate that my two daughters and their children love to read, and all their grades show it.
Two of my favorite memorable quotations are:
The first was written in my 8th. grade autograph book by my teacher:
Learning is better than silver…
Learning is better than gold.
Silver and gold will tarnish away
But a good education will never decay.
The second was from one of my college/nursing instructors:
To study patients without books is to sail an uncharted sea
But to study books without patients is not to have been to sea at all.

Directions: From the intersection of Routes 207 and 32 in Franklin (near Kahns Tractor and Smith 4x4), proceed on Route 32 North for 0.7 miles and turn onto the 1st. right, which is Pleasure Hill Road, then go 0.2 miles to Ward Lane on the left. Go about 100 feet and see an unmarked Gager Cemetery on your left. To the right of the cemetery is a dirt road leading to a house on the hill behind the cemetery, but you can go a few feet on the road and pull onto the grass. The entrance is at the far left of the cemetery.
Clues: Toward the back wall of the cemetery is a fairly large evergreen tree with several small/tipped over gravestones leaning together against the tree. One name is Cornelia, F_-_---NEW CLUES: From Cornelia --walk about 6 feet to the back wall slightly to the right and low in the wall is the new box. Please stamp in and out and rehide well. Thank you.
P.S. Bring clues to’Backyard Sugaring” as it is very close by.
