“Hey kids, want to go to the park?”
“All right Dad!”
“Ready to go? Everybody got their stamps, notebooks, and swimsuits?”
“Ready! We’re ready!!”
“Into the car, then!”
“Not it!” “Not it!”
“Gee guys, why do I always have to sit in the middle seat?”
“That’s okay, Sam, you’re the smallest brother anyway.”
“Now, let’s go!”
Whitetail In The Woods
Originally created for the 2008 Great Lakes Gathering, Afton, MN
Head west on the path that isn’t artificial. After everything is connected and the path begins a significant bend south, stand in the middle of the trail with a tree on your immediate left, mossy rocks on your immediate right, and three tree clusters aligned at 250 degrees. Sight due west to a skinny peeling trio, 60 paces away.
Turkey In The Trees
Continue on the trail until you are informed of water, water everywhere. Continue 20 steps to spot an obvious hiding fork to the north, about 8 steps off the trail. Look in the base of its fallen neighbor that points east.
