Whitetail In The Woods
Originally created for the 2008 Great Lakes Gathering, Afton, MN
Head west on the path that isn’t artificial. After everything is connected, just as the path begins a significant bend south, stand in the middle of the trail with a tree on your immediate left, mossy rocks and a holey stump on your immediate right. Head due west to a skinny peeling trio, 60 steps away.
Turkey In The Trees
Continue on the trail until you are informed of water, water everywhere. Continue 15 steps to spot a fork to the north, about 17 steps off the trail. Look in its base.
Quail In The Quarry added May 20, 2017
Continue again until a different trail heads right, over rocks, then take another left, at a sign, then a grassy right, to a bench. Head clockwise until you cross a large bridge. 1, 2, 3 benches; dock. 4, 5, 6 benches are along the water, then 7 is on the path. From there, take 15 steps SE to a large tree, then 10 more to a triple that holds the box.
