Start at the Groff Park playground. Look down the hill and to the east, and you will see an area with slides. Walk to the slides, and then look east again to find a sign at the edge of the woods reading "Emily Dickenson Trail." Enter the woods on this trail, walking with the Fort River on your left side. You'll pass under power lines and then pass a marker marked "5" next to a multi trunk fir tree. Continue walking on the same trail across a small plank bridge, and then over another plank bridge marked "Snake Point." (Be sure to feed a few crumbs to the trolls who live under all the bridges—it keeps them from getting cranky!) Continue on the same path, crossing a third plank bridge. Soon the path will rise up into an open meadow—keep going! You'll soon dip back into the woods, down some stairs and across a fourth bridge marked "Mice Hollow." Keep going onward through a second meadow. As the trail returns into the woods, you'll see a massive oak tree in the middle of your path. Another large oak tree stands immediately to your right. The letterbox is hidden on a bed of sticks behind this tree's trunk, nestled in the roots. Please replace the box carefully!
