My daughter's soccer team was in town to play in the Plano Labor Day Invitational Soccer Tournament, so I decided to place a box at one of the fields. I chose Russell Creek Park because it has a nice hike and bike trail to go with the soccer fields.

Directions:
In Plano, go north on North Dallas Pkwy to Hwy 121 and turn northeast. Go about 3.5 miles and turn right (south) on Coit Rd. Go about 1 mile and turn left (East) on McDermott Rd. Go about .7 mile and turn right into Russell Creek Park and go past the first parking areas. Turn left toward the pond and park in the lot on the right.

Clues:
Walk to the left side of the pond and go clockwise on the cement trail about 200 yards to the far east side. Find the concrete culvert on the back side of the pond heading east to the creek. Walk down the left side of it for 30 steps, going between 2 trees. Turn left and walk 30 steps along the back side of a row of trees. Look left for a medium oak tree with a small multi-trunk tree next to it. The minibox is hanging from a branch 3 feet high. The box is a pill container and is permanently attached to the tree, so remove the top by pushing down while turning counter-clockwise. When replacing the top, make sure to screw it on all the way and check to make sure it doesn't come off if you lift up on it.
