Okay y'all say ya like a good story so try this one on: Once upon a time there was a letterboxer, who in her eagerness to learn to carve, carved images and objects to anything that hit her fancy;being a gemini lots of different things hit her fancy. So she kept carving until over 100 carvings she had and still had yet to plant any. She started planting all around her area and tried to come up with themes and reasons for her stamps' existence, but for some of her stamps she met with much resistance. They wouldn't conform , no special place to plant them came to mind, that had some meaning- some tie-in for the letterboxer to find. Thus these five boxes came to rest in Riley Park. It's a small but sweet, yet don't get caught there after dark! Hope you enjoy them as the craft I do hone. These are among the first, so throw me a bone!

Box#1
Arrive and park near the playground.
Follow the wooden trail until you get to the "T"
Across the water, suspended in air,
turn to your left, place a hand under there.
A"lucky Charm" you'll find-
But many muggles just beware.
Box #2
Back across the bridge, go straight ahead.
Looking off to your left- before the wooden path ends,
see the dirt path into the woods?
One should travel it and see where it bends.
A path little traveled after a while away from the river it leads.
You're in the right place if there is a refuse of a big dead fallen tree, branches and dead leaves.
Under the base of this tree-
a big-eyed frog staring back at me.
Box #3
Back to the bridge to the right do you see?
The old bridge supports- under BW, can it be?
Faith and Begorrah, another letterbox to astound.
Now stamp it and rehide it better than you found.
Box#4
Back to the road at the end of the bridge.
Sit on the bench, removing briars that have hitched.
The road you must travel leads to the left of Riley's cabin.
The OX Bow trail on up and then to the left.
Down into the old canal and soon another LB you'll be nabbin"'
Looking left see six trees joined with one base.
Go up and behind to find a friend of this great place.
Box#5
Back down the trail leading you out.
when given the choice OXBow trail leaves no doubt.
Up the trail til on your left you see a trail
Down the trail of roots-now don't pout.
Near the bottem on the right, see a tree with a hole big as Texas.
A good fairy you'll find using a little from your solar plexus.
Box #6
Across the grass on the bench you can sit.
But watch for the muggles there out to get fit.
After a rest the trail by the volleyball court is what you'll use.
Until the chin-up bars, jump to the other paved path or you'll lose.
Keep walking straight,
to the bench leg raise and 7 paces you'll take.
Into the woods and branches you'll bump.
Looking for the eaten tree next to a stump.
A squaw is there once these woods she did roam,
Now just a stump she has to call home.
Now you are done, back to your car with a bound,
Because many more letterboxes are in the area to be found.
