Difficulty: Easy, though walking on mountain bike trails is required. About 1.2 miles of easy walking.

Make your way to the park named for John Carson Antrim.

The hardest part of finding these boxes could be finding a parking spot. Spring and Fall are especially crowded. After parking, walk under the freeway and head to the deck overlooking the lake. This part of the bike path is very busy with bikers, runners, walkers, rollerbladers, dogs and strollers. Be sure to watch out for bikes as you cross to the deck.

Stand on the deck overlooking the water and see if you can find any of the animals of Antrim.

Box 1

Take the gravel path around the lake that will go to your left as you face the water. Bikes are not permitted on the gravel path. After you pass the spot where Ziggy and Margie Coyle enjoyed the view, take the first path on your left leading into the trees. Though it is busy here, few people leave the gravel paths.

At the intersection, take the path to the right. When you come to a large rock in the path, count about 25 steps. Look to the right far off the path for a large rock next to a tree. You'll find the first box under rocks and sticks behind the rock.

Box 2
Make your way back out to the gravel path keeping the lake on your right. You will pass the gazebo and one path into the trees. At the second path past the gazebo, enter the trees. Take the path to the right. This part of the path can be muddy, and because of the small hills, can be a popular spot for mountain bikers. After about 46 steps, look to your left for several fallen trees close to the path. X marks the spot.

The second box is approximately halfway around the lake. So whether you continue all the way around, or go back the way you came, you will walk about 1.2 miles.
